Over the course of the last 12 months we have all seen headlines describing how people and businesses have been hit by some form of disaster. From the terrible flooding in Yorkshire, Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas to the terrorist attacks in London and Glasgow, the images are still fresh in our minds.
From a business continuity perspective, we are able to draw upon the experiences of others and to reflect upon our own situations: could we have responded effectively to such an incident?
The purpose of this presentation is to look behind the headlines and consider some of the actions that we could take in our own organisations to ensure we are better prepared for the types of incident that, unfortunately, occur all too frequently.
