Garrison receives BS 25999 certification from the BSI
As a leading provider of business continuity management consultancy services, many of our clients have been asking us about BS 25999. We felt it only right to put our reputation on the line and seek confirmation from an external auditor that our own business continuity arrangements were fully compliant with best practice. And as the world-renowned ‘owner’ of the British Standard for business continuity management (BS 25999) the British Standards Institution (BSI) was our preferred auditor.
Having applied for certification earlier this year, we were then subject to two exhaustive reviews of our business continuity policies and processes. Following the second audit on 9 July 2008, we were advised that a positive recommendation for certification would be made to the BSI’s internal review board.
We have now been awarded certification and with it confirmation that Garrison Continuity “operates a Business Continuity Management System in compliance with BS 25999-2:2007”.
