Garrison’s Angela Robinson launches Business Continuity Awareness Week
This year’s Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) will be launched at 12:00pm (GMT) on Monday 22 March 2010. The launch event — a 90-minute video conference — will be kicked-off by Garrison Continuity director Angela Robinson.
The launch event is titled, “One Step Ahead: The BCM Advantage” and features expert contributions from around the world in a unique video conference that will be streamed live to enable viewers to put questions in real time to participants. The session will be chaired by former BBC presenter, Steve Parks.
You can register in advance for the live event (go to the BCAW home page to register) and a recording will be available to watch on-demand for those who can’t make the live event.
In addition to the launch event, the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) will be providing a range of downloadable resources for members and partners who wish to run activities within their own organisations and local communities. Resources include posters, suggested activities, webinars and even games.
